IMPHAL, April 12: The Revolutionary Peoples’ Front has in a press release expressed gratitude to senior citizens, womenfolk, brethren of the hills, youths, members of local clubs and organisations, Bar Association, teachers and students of schools and colleges, government employees, the employees of the health services and also private institutions for their cooperation and for paying homage to the slain cadres and officers of the outfit on April 13 in connection with the observance of “Athoubasinggi Numit.”

The press release of the RPF further showed gratitude to journalist community, the members of the various transports associations for their help for transporting public, medical professionals for their service on the spot and also the Traffic and police personnel for their help in effective traffic control in and around memorial tomb, it said.

It further said that the day was also observed at the Council Headquarters, General Headquarters, Tactical Command, Strategic Command, 252 Mobile Battalion, Central Bureau SR-1, SR-2, SR-3, SR-4 and also at all military units, it said and added that the pioneering revolutionaries who martyred their lives for revolutionary cause of Manipur had imprinted the ideal of supreme sacrifice for providing freedom to the people of the state, it said.
