    Once you begin to believe and “identify” with this new-found reality, you will begin to see the world in a different light. Things that were not available to you before will suddenly start to appear in your favor.

    The practice of turning your Wish (the first Principle of Success) into reality takes time. Desire, because you have to want it so much that you cannot be easily held back. It’s not an easy process, if it were, everyone would have everything they’ve ever wanted. Desire weeds out those who have no true conviction.

    What should I do? I’m so glad you asked.

    I’ve already written about my morning practice where I spend 10 minutes using Tony Robbin’s priming exercise. One minute to focus, 3 minutes to be grateful, 3 minutes to receive the gifts of the universe, and 3 minutes to imagine the future you want. What I’m grateful for every morning is changing, sometimes it was something amazing that happened the day before, and sometimes I’m just grateful for the peacetime morning with the breeze in my face. The three things I focus on are always the same. Write a book, do this job full time, and finally spend 3 months living with my partner and dog on the West Coast.

    I am very glad that I can announce that the latter is already being implemented. It may not seem like an impossible feat, but it took a lot of coordination and luck to work together and all at the right time to make this dream a reality. And once that happened, I still had to risk losing my job because of it. Fortunately, it didn’t come to that, but it was pretty bloody close.

    Two other desires are still under development. I have ideas about my book all the time and I started various drafts. I keep telling myself that if I had time to get completely involved in the process, I could shoot it down. Yeah, I know, just an excuse, and if I really wanted it to be bad enough, I’d work on it every single minute I have. Well, it so happens that I have a very long cross-country trip, and I have a lot of time by car. Maybe it will spur my creative side to release a bestseller.

    So I wanted to bring my blog together to inspire others that these principles work if you work with them, so I wanted to share that one of my first three desires is already entrenched. Success.

    However, I will soon find out why this braking wire was necessary.

    A few days later, I was driving to work on the usual 70-mile roadway.

    I wasn’t hanging around at the time, and I was on the outer track, “walking all the way,” as Rigsby might say in the rising dampness.

    I set the beginning of the video to 0:22. The opening scene is so funny!

    I tried to act like a statue – even breathing was risky. But it was useless.

    Seconds later, the sensor picked me up, the alarm went off, and I was driving along with my headlights flashing and the siren screaming!

    I grabbed the remote control that was in the middle of my keys near the ignition key and pressed the button. I don’t remember if it silenced the alarm or not, but if it did, it only happened for a moment.

    My slide was fast approaching, so I took the exit and stopped on my stiff shoulder. It was close to the town and I remember the pedestrians watching me get out of the car with the siren still exploding and the headlights still flashing.

    I must have looked very suspicious, opening the hood and pulling a bundle of wires out of the siren!

    Luckily, no one interrogated me until I closed the hood and set off.

    After a while.

    As you can imagine when I connected the alarm, I also connected an “additional” wire lock!

    Looking back, the remote control receiver was unable to distinguish between electrical interference from the ignition system and the signal to turn on the alarm. The additional wire was a manufacturer’s workaround to prevent it from activating the system while the engine was running.

    My initial desire to simplify the installation certainly led to an unforgettable journey!
