IMPHAL, Jan 2:The All Manipur Gorkha Students’ Union (AMGSU) and Manipur Gorkha Welfare Union have condoled the unfortunate demise of H Achou, father of The Sangai Express Editor, Hijam Rajesh and Ch Maipak Singh, father of Assistant News Editor, DDK Imphal, Ch Birendra.
A joint press release of AGSU and MGWU espressed heartfelt condolence and prayed to give eternal peace to the departed souls.

KANGPOKPI, Jan 30 : All Manipur Gorkha Students’ Union election was held yesterday at the union office located at Kanglatongbi and elected new office bearers. Post to president, vice president, general secretary, joint secretary, treasurer, education secretary, information secretary, cultural secretary and games and sports secretary were elected.
