Career seminar

IMPHAL, Oct 2: The Gangte Students’ Organisation (GSO) Imphal Block organised a career guidance seminar for students today at TRI conference hall, Chingmeirong. Wide ranging career opportunities to students at different levels were presented by resource persons. Besides, the eminent persons from the community including HT Gangte, DIG (AP-1), Dr Lalzo S Thangzom, Assistant Professor, Assam University, Dr Laljem, MD, Dr Kimneihlam, District Leprosy Officer, Ccpur, Khuollien Gangte, Resource person, SSA/RTE and Th Paulalthuom Gangte, Asst Manager Canara Bank spoke about career in civil service, medical, finance/banking education and higher studies, career planning and selection of course.
A healthy interactive session also marked the programme. President of GTU D Angam, GYO (Ghqs) president Gouminlun Gangte and other leaders of the Gangte tribe graced the programme.

IMPHAL, Aug 5: The Gangte Students’ Organisation (GSO) Ghqs yesterday organised a simple yet impressive programme in honour of M Paoneo Haokip for his commendable effort in launching ‘Eimi Programme’ on ISTV.
GSO Ghqs presented a traditional shawl and a memento to Paoneo during the programme held at the residence of GSO adviser KSJ Gangte at New Lambulane.
