IMPHAL, Feb 9: Members of Manipur University Casual Contract Engaged Staff Association (MUCCESA) staged a sit in protest in front of the Administration Block of Manipur University, Canchipur, today, demanding equal pay for equal work and minimum basic entry pay. Speaking to the press, MUCCESA president Nambam Rajendra said, “The sit in protest was staged so as to urge the authorities to take note of our plight during the Dean Committee meeting which will be held today”.
