IMPHAL, Jun 27: United Chongthas, Khwai Lalambung Makhong, RIMS Road has expressed strong disappointment over the non-distribution of ration cards in Uripok A/C while other constituencies have even got rice under NFSA.
In a statement, the secretary of United Chongthas Ch Romen Singh said that it has been almost three months since the NFSA came into force in the State on April 25, but the people of Uripok A/C are yet to receive the ration cards, leave alone getting the rice quotas under the said Act.
