With a view to streamline pension updation process of pensioners, the State Government has decided to declare Digital Life Certificate (DLC) generated through Jeevan Pramaan online portal as another proof of existence of pensioners in the State and to authorise the Common Service Centre (CSCs) for generating DLC for pensioners through the Jeevan Pramaan online portal with immediate effect, conveyed an order issued by the Commissioner (Finance), Government of Manipur today.

‘Pension preparation handled fully by State Treasury’

IMPHAL, Jul 12 (DIPR): Manipur is the only State in the Northeast where pension preparation is handled fully by the State Treasury whereas all the other States have handed over this function to the banks, said Th Kirankumar, Director of Treasuries & Accounts, Government of Manipur. He was addressing a press conference organised by DIPR at its office complex today.
