Out of 7 billion people around the world, over 1 billion people have some form of disability, that’s 1 in 7. There are more than 100 million disabled persons are children and children with disabilities are almost four times more likely to experience violence than non-disabled children. It is interesting to know that 80% of all people with disabilities live in a developing country and 50% of disabled persons cannot afford health care. So far 153 countries signed the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. These facts tells us how important is to take up the issue and work for solution. I have been discussing an issue which is related to disability in all my youth programmes. Whenever I talk of education as career then I mention about special education and its importance. We must make a society inclusive of all where every human being could get their rights.

We have been talking more about young India and youths of the country. There are some other areas which need focus and attention. There is more focus for the youths and making them human resources in the future. We talk about child rights or woman rights and at the same time it’s time to think about elders of our society. A report released by the United Nations Population Fund and HelpAge India suggests that India had 90 million elderly persons in 2011, with the number expected to grow to 173 million by 2026.

Apart from living being like human being or animals, our environment is worse affected due to war or any armed conflict. We count the death causalities or wounded soldiers or missing soldiers but very less we see what happens to our environment. Most of the students ask me about Civil Service Examination. We are aware that civil service examination is most prestigious as it selects officers for various services. The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India.
As the first stage is preliminary exam, it is being held once in a year in different exam centre of the country. The Preliminary Examination for Civil Services is also popularly called CSAT or Civil Services Aptitude Test. The CSAT is actually the second paper of General Studies that was introduced in 2011. The system was different before and it has changed now in comparison with few years back. Before the introduction of aptitude type there was two papers that include a subject and another is like general studies that include most subjects. Through CSAT, the UPSC intended to choose suitable candidates who not only have the knowledge but also the aptitude for reasoning and analytical power.

There are different definitions of youth in different countries. Earlier a young people up to the age of 35 was called as youth in India according to national youth Policy but new youth policy of has bought the age to 15-29 . In international perspectives some organisation says that any young people in the age of 15 to 24 are youth but some also says that young people up to the age of 30 is youth.
