Rijiju to campaign in Senapati, Phungyar

IMPHAL, Feb 23 : Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju will campaign for BJP in Senapati district and Phungyar in Ukhrul district tomorrow. Kiren Rijiju who will arrive in Imphal at 10 am will head to Senapati district and Phungyar in Ukhrul via chopper to campaign for BJP. He will join BJP rally along with Prime Minister Modi on February 25. Beefing up security in the State ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s arrival in the State, helicopter landing trial was undertaken at CRPF, Langjing helipad.

Rijiju salutes Rani Gaidinliu amid BJP sponsored bandh

IMPHAL, Aug 31: Despite the State wide bandh imposed by the Bharatiya Janata Party Manipur Pradesh against the arrest of two MLAs by security personnel for disrupting a recruitment rally yesterday, the Union Home Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju landed here today and paid floral tributes to the late freedom fighter of Manipur Rani Gaidinliu as part of the ‘70th Azadi- Yaad Karo Qurbani’ remembrance here at the Tingkao Ragwang Hall, Kabui Khul, Chingmeirong Imphal.
