The State Tourism Department has clarified that the error in the address of the venue of the 5th International Tourism Mart organised by the Union Ministry of Tourism in association with North Eastern States and the State of West Bengal at City Convention Centre was inadvertent and the address of the Mart given in the invitation as ‘Home Church Lane’ was reportedly taken from Google.
The State Government is taking up the matter with the Ministry to avoid recurrence of any such mistakes in future.
