Tamenglong: The JAC on Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP-II) has appealed to the DC Tamenglong to release the final bill of IWMP-11, 2012-13 at the earliest.
A press release issued today by the convenor of the JAC stated that the fund for the said work has already being sanctioned and the committee from 13 villages have executed all work as per the guidelines of the Department.
He also pointed out that the completion report have already been submitted to the authority concerned and as such appealed to the DC to release the bill at the earliest

Tml, Jul 24: The Nungba Kendra Citizens Forum has urged the concerned authority to implement the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) in Noney and Tamenglong district at the earliest.
A press release issued by Chairman of Nungba Kendra Citizen Forum stated that Nungba AC has not witnessed a full fledged implementation of SBM despite its application in many districts of the State.
It stated that no proper toilets are installed in many parts of the district and open defecation are leading to many health hazards in the areas.
