IMPHAL, Feb 19: Maintaining that the system followed by Transport Department OSD BK Sharma and the Election Department for requisition of buses, trucks and light vehicles is deceitful, the Transporters and Drivers Council (TDC) has decided not to spare any vehicle for the ensuing election.

Don’t hike fare : TDC

Saying that the authorities concerned have been working hard to address the issue of fuel shortage in the State, the Transporters and Drivers Council (TDC) has appealed to all passenger carriers not to hike transport fares. In collaboration with CAF&PD Department, TDC today distributed 12 Kls of diesel and four Kls of petrol to buses and vans engaged in transporting students at Heirangoithong Service Station and United Brothers Station, Khongnang Ani Karak.
