Imphal, Dec 26: On 24/12/2011 at 4:00 pm. a team of CDO/1E arrested l(one) PULF cadre namely, Md, Arifbuddin @ Ibomcha @ James (25) s/o Md. Kamalluddin of Klyamgei Mayai Leikai from Kiyamgei Lai Mamang area and one .32 Pistol loaded with 2 live rounds in the magazine was recovered from his possession. On verification, he disclosed that he joined PULF organization in the year 2010 through one Ronimi of Kiyamgei Awang Takiiok and working under his command.
Further, he disclosed that he was involved in keeping hand grenade at Public Hospital, Hatta in the year 2010 and also in burning down of working hut (Khola) at Kiyamgei Awang Leikai in the year 2010 under the command of Romrni and extorted huge amount of money from general public, etc. 10 DOGRA under the aegis of 59 Mountain Brigade, Red Shield Division apprehended four cadres of KNF (P) on 23 Dec 2011 while carrying out extortion in village P Moulding of Leimakhong area.
Cadres were identified as SS Pvt Ngaincha K jkl, age 20 yrs, s/o Sh Hemkai, r/o Kholjang, SS Pvt Bollen, age 20 yrs, s/o Sh Achung, r/o Kholjang SS Pvt Letminsei, age 17 yrs s/o Thanglung, r/o Langkhol and SS Pvt Thang Lenmang, age 20 yrs s/o Sh Lullai Kipgen, r/o Khonum. All of them were travelling in a Maruti Omni Vehicle (Regd No AS-11D 6438) and were later handed over to PS Sekmai vide FIR No 83 (12) 2011/GS 400/395/34 dt 23 Dec 11. One leaflet of duty roaster of SoO designated Camp Ebenzier/Natheljang was recovered from them but however the above cadres are not registered in the authorized of cadres housed in the camp. This incident also amounts to violation of SoO agreement by KNF (P).
