New Delhi, Feb 11: National conference on electoral reforms began at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (International Youth Centre),Chanakyapuri, New Delhi on Feb 10 last . Discussions on British Model First Past the Post (FPTP) were done and it was agreed to amend it. The participants were divided into three groups with ten panelists each and discussed about Proportionate Electoral System , Bicameral Parliament , Reservation, Threshold, Gerrymandering , Internal Party Democracy, Financing of Election, Right to Recall, Compulsory Voting, Pre-Poll or Post-Poll Alliances . CERI Nort East Convenor Dr. M. Nara Singh, Livnus Kindo and V.B. Rawat were among the panelists.
