Imphal, Feb 16: One person was killed and 11 others received injuries when a Tata Magic carrying passengers collided with a track at Ushoipokpi chaobok Lamkhai under Lilong PS this morning around 6.30 a.m.
The Tata magic carrying passengers was preceding from Sangaiyumpham towards Imphal when the accident took place.
The victim was identified as Thangjam Pishak (34) Samram. He died on the way to hospital.
These injured were identified as Thangjam Paka (40) Langdum, Khogen (31), Md. Sattar (35), Sangaiyumpham, Md. Jakir Hussain (24), Sekmaijin Khunou, Wahengbam (o) Beena (45), Tangjing Heibung , Akoijam Ajit (40), Thoubal Achouba Mayai Leikai, Kh. Ibomcha (50), Thoubal Kiyam Litan Bok, Md. Fajal (40), Md. Salem (45) Md. Ibdula (40), SangaiYumpham Dam. As the Conditions of the injures were in a critical situation, they were referred to private hospitals.
A case was registered in this connection.
