Imphal, Feb 27: A joint sit in protest organized by ten non-congress political parties operating in Manipur was held today at Keishampat Lairembi opposing the decision of election commission of India. The representatives of MPP, NCP, BJP, TMC, CPI, CPI(M), NPP, NPF, MSCP,
JD(U) were took part at the protest. They demanded to reject all the postal ballot votes and proxy votes as they were casted in malpractice in the election. One voter had cast several times in some polling stations. The ECI knows well this. At least 523 polling stations had been done malpractice in the recent election, they charged.
The non-congress political parties demanded to count the vote after rejected all the malpractice votes and wrong done. Some leaders of political parties are in New Delhi now to tell all the facts to the chief election commissioner of ECI.
The ECI has decided not to re-poll at any polling station and ready to count the result of the election.
