The Manipur Pradesh Trinamool congress today staged a sit in protest demanding the justice for the killing of Richard and Laba at Khuyathong. Kim Gangte president MPTC, Seven MLA’s of the party were present at the protest.
Kim Gangte speaking the media said that the party demands to resolve the murder case of Richard and Laba. It demanded to hand over the case to CBI, save guard for the students of north east.
The party also opposed the price hike on petrol and diesel and other essential commodities. It will support the country wide agitation against the price hike on petrol on May 30. Though the party is an alies of the UPA govt. at the centre, it opposes the price hike on petrol.
