London Aug 4 : Laishram Devendro Singh of India defeated Serdamba Purevdorj of Mongolia 16-11 in the pre-quarter finals of the Men’s Light Fly (49kg) category boxing event of the London Olympics 2012 on Saturday.
Devendro dominated in all the three rounds . He found openings from the very beginning and his well timed punches, jabs made the Mongolian boxer wobbly.
In the 1st Round Devendro won 1st Round 4-3. He kept attacking and his hands found home in the faces of the Mongolian.
In the 2nd Round Devendro won 4-2. Overall, he leads 8-5. Devendro comes up with his customary attacking play. V
Devendro wins the 3rd set 8-6. Overall, he wins the match 16-11.
