Imphal, Aug 9 : Governor Gurbhachan Jagat said in a message. “I extend my heartiest greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of “Shri Krishna Janmastami”.
The teachings of Lord Krishna to a bewildered Arjuna on the battlefield in the midst of the Mahabharata to perform “Karrna” (duty), is the essence of truth and will forever remain as a guiding principle for mankind. His message explaining the true meaning of “Karma” will continue to show the path to all human beings, as to how we should react in difficult situations, conditions and circumstances. “Karma”, in simple terms, is worshiping work, doing it for its own sake without expecting its rewards/results. It also signifies total concentration in doing one’s best in whatever one does. Following His teachings, let us all in Manipur perform our duty in our day-to-day life for bringing peace and prosperity in our State.I, once again, convey my heartiest greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of “Shri Krishna Janmastami”.
Major General UK Gurung, YSM, IGAR (South) and all Ranks of Assam Rifles extend a warm greetings and Sincere good will to the People of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of “JANMASTHAMI”. IGAR (South) also expressed that, may this festival herald an era of peace, progress and prosperity in the region.
