Imphal, Sep 7 : The education minister Shri M. Okendra said there will be a change in education system in Manipur. Only education can unite people living in hills and valley. The govt. is trying to improve the conditions of schools both govt. and private.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of the newly constructed building of food testing laboratory and opening of a two day national seminar at SK Women’s College, Nambol today.
There should be good academic atmosphere between teachers and students. Various teachers have been recruited for the schools and a website has also been launched. He appealed the gathering to extend co-operation so that the system can be improved.
N. Loken, Dr. J. Alexander Pao, MLAs, Dean Professor, Amar Yumnam and Professor Ajanta Borgohain Rajkhowa, NE sub-regional co-ordinator, Capacity building for women manager in higher education graced the occasion as president and guest of honours respectively.
