Discovering the presence of UG cadres in No. Ward No.7, Moreh, troops 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operation in the area and apprehended two UG cadres on 07 Sep 2012. The apprehendees were identified as SS Pvt Md Nurul Islam alias Enoubi of UNLF,29 yrs, s/o Late Abdullah, r/o Muslim Nagar, Ward No.5,Moreh and SS Pvt Maisnam Nanoubi Singh alias Nanoubi of PLA, s/o M Ningthou,r/o Turel Awangma, Ward No.7,Moreh.One IED(1kg),one packet(1kg) of explosive,20 mtr connecting wire, one battery and one Chinese made Antipersonnel mine were recovered from the apprehendees who alongwith recoveries were handed over to Imphal West police station.
