The supporters of a candidate of 10/3 Mongsangei Gram Panchayat blocked Mayai Lambi by burning tyres at Mongsangei Boroi Makhong today however police controlled the situation.
According to a source, four candidates of the Panchayat were in the fray.The total number of voters polled on the election day is less than when counting process began yesterday. One candidate is leading only four votes. The result of the election for the Panchayat could not be declared yesterday.
