IMPHAL, Sept 22: Suspected militants attacked the residence of a PDA Executive Engineer by exploding a bomb at Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai under Singjamei Police Station in Imphal West last night. The blast took place around 10 pm outside the brick fencing of EE Loitongbam Kesho but no one was hurt in the attack except the splinters smashed through the roof of a small house attached to the main residence. The Singjamei police has started investigation into the blast after registering a case. No group has so far claimed for the attack.
