Mera Chaoren Houba will be celebrated tomorrow. Chief Minister, O Ibobi said in a message, “I greet the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Mera Chaoren Houba which falls on 16th October, 2012.
Mera Chaoren Houba is a traditional festival celebrated in Manipur in the month of Mera Tha every year. I join the people of the State in celebrating the festival. While extending my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all on the occasion, I also hope and pray that the festival would strengthen the bond of friendship and brotherhood amongst the different groups of people in the State for a more harmonious, peaceful and prosperous Manipur.
