An International Peace Poster Contest on the theme “Imagine Peace” was conducted at Sainik School Imphal on 28 October 2012. A total of 106 cadets of the school studying in class VI, VII and VIII participated in the competition which was organised as part of 25th edition of Lions International Peace Poster Contest under the aegis of Lions Club of Imphal Greater, Lions Club International District 322D. In the final result declared by a jury of two members namely Ng Norendrajit Singh and A Ashok Kumar from JNV Khgumbong and Sainik School Imphal respectively, Cadet Prabin Hemam (class VII) was adjudged first while Cadet Rohit Thokchom (class VII) and Cadet Boris Sougrakpam (class VII) stood second and third position respectively. The painting of the winner will be forwarded for District Level Competition to be held at Guwahati in the month of November 2012.
