The 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda organized by Manipur State organizing committee 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was held at Asha-Jina complex, Imphal on October 27 at 9 a.m.
A seminar on Swami Vivekananda was also held.
Maibam Binoykumar, retd. Justice, Guwahati Highcourt, Thongram Haridas, Padmashree, president, Vivekanand Kendra, Manipur graced the occasion as chief guest and president respectively.Dr. S. Kulachandra, Manipur state co-ordinator in his key-note address said, Swami Vivekananda is a great disciple of Shri RamKrishna Parmahangs patriotic and good organizer.
In the new society, he went outside and preached salvation religion for the first time.
He had spread the teachings of salvation religion.
L. Birendrakumar Sharma, Soyam Lokendrajit, Longjam Joychandra spoke a resource persons.Rajkumar Jhaljit, padmashree was the moderator of the seminar.
