MNS: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Sub Inspector of Railway Protection Force, Satna (Madhya Pradesh) for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.Two lakhs from the complainant.
A case was registered by CBI U/s 7 of PC Act, 1988 against a Sub Inspector on the basis of a complaint received from a Satna(MP)-based Scrap Vendor. It was alleged that the Sub Inspector had demanded a bribe of Rs.Ten Lakhs from the complainant for not falsely implicating him in a theft case and also not arresting in the said case.
CBI laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed.
