AIZAWL, Oct 30 NNN : India International Trade Fair-2012 (IIFT-2012) will be held at Pragati Maidan New Delhi from November 14 to 17 which will be participated by great number of people from different parts of India and even from outside India. Mizoram will also be represented in the grand event by 20 people with the initiative of the Industries Department.
Representatives of Mizoram will showcase different types of clothes, bamboo-made handicrafts, brooms, ginger and turmeric products, and other items, at the Trade Fair. Participation in an international level is helpful in many ways for traders and businesspersons, acknowledging which the first 3 days of the Fair is reserved for them. The remaining days is open for public visit.
Officials of the Mizoram Industries Department will be on duty during the Trade Fair to guide and help anyone from Mizoram who are interested to visit the Fair.
Meanwhile, PC Lallawmsanga, state Principal Secretary in charge of Industries today met the representatives of Mizoram and told them that in spite of the financial crunch in the state, the the government is sending them in the trade fair and advised them to participate at the event and make the best out of it.
