Discovering the smuggling of banned drugs along NH-102,troops of 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operation at Mile stone 413 (approximate 6 Kms from Khudengthabi of Chandel dist) on 01 Nov 2012. During the course of search ops in general area Milestone 413, troops intercepted 13 packets of banned Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Tablets weighing approximate 182 Kgs which was lying abandoned under the culvert near the Milestone. Approximate Cost of the recovered tablets is Rupees one crore in domestic market. The recovered unclaimed banned Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Tablets was handed over to Narcotic Control Bureau, Imphal.
