IMPHAL, Nov 21 NNN: Police today lobbed tear-gas shells to disperse the supporters of the Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC) at Gwaltabi in the Imphal-Ukhrul road at around 3 pm today that resulted in the injury of seven women protestors.
Three of them werer referred to Christian Hospital at Deulahlane. Four were treated locally.
Meanwhile, KSDC information secretary George Guite has condemned in the strongest term on the act of the police personnel. The injured were identified as Namkhovah , Lhaiboi Neihoikim , Kimthing , Lhingcha , Lhingneilam and Chongboi .
