World Aids Day 2012 was celebrated at ART centre ( Centre of Excellence) COE, RIMS, Imphal today at Mini Auditorium, for RIMS, Imphal. Prof. S Sekharjit Singh, Director, RIMS was the Chief Guest, Prof. M. Kulachandra Singh, Prof. Ng. Brajachand Singh, E. Debendra Dy. Director RIMS were guests of honour and Prof. Th. Bhimo Singh Programme Director, ART, COE, RIMS was the president respectively. It was suggested by all speakers that all faculties and health care workers of RIMS should work collectively, more efficiently to combat the increasing HIV population in Manipur especially amongst children and women.
The function concluded with prize distribution to PLHIV of RIMS.
