NNN : The Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said Monday that the party has already consulted with its MPs to raise the Loktak issue of Manipur in the ongoing Parliament session.
“The K-Pro Infra Works Pvt Ltd has been floated by Chief Minister O Ibobi to find out ways to eat up the whole amount of Rs 24 crore sanctioned by the Central Government for clearing the floating phumdi (biomass) on Loktak Lake”, P Chandrasekhar Rao, Secretary in-charge, BJP North-East Zonal Organisation accused.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the current condition of Loktak Lake, the BJP leader said the party has looked into the whole gamut of issue involving alleged misappropriation of huge amount of money meant for phumdi clearance.
