Imphal, May 12 : Chief Minister Shri O Ibobi Singh and Dy CMGaikhangam and several other civil dignitaries attended dinner cum banquet at Red Shield Division, Leimakhong on 11 May 13.
During the visit, Chief Minister and civil dignitaries discussed prevailing security situation in the State with Lt Gen Arun Kumar Sahni, SM, VSM, GOC Spear Corps and Maj Gen KK Sinha, SM, GOC Red Shield Division and thee CM further expressed his appreciation towards the efforts of Security Forces in combating insurgency in the State towards bringing peace and tranquility. iIbobi Singh lauded the co-operation and assistance which Red Shield Division has extended to the civil administration of the State and asserted that the continuous and selfless effort of Army will go a long way in providing a vital fillip to the bonhomie between Army and people of Manipur. He wished good luck to the troops of Indian Army serving the Nation and State.
