Volunteers of the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) carrying out drive against non-locals at Sekmai area.
Volunteers of joint committee on inner line permit student wing stopped seven tourist buses and others and checked if there were non-Manipuris who did not possess valid documents at Koujengleima New Bazar this morning around 11 a.m. and 40 non-Manipuris were arrested. They left Sekmai and returned towards their destination.
The students wing checked vehicles coming towards Imphal at Luwangsangbam area.
