IMPHAL, June 29: A press release issued by The All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) said that AMSU expressed a heartfelt sorrow at the government’s step which has left aspiring candidates of MBBS entrance examination in the lurch. It is the weakness of the government that the state government is unable to make a clear-cut decision on MBBS entrance examination for the aspirants. If the central government order was already issued, why the state government made arrangements to conduct the examination by issuing forms and admit cards. The Union asked if the MBBS entrance examination will be rescheduled or not if the Supreme Court makes its ruling that the MBBS entrance examination will be conducted under the state government this year and will be conducted under CBSE from the next year onwards. It further appealed to the government to solve the problem and to take a suitable decision in the interest of the students.
