IMPHAL, November 25: The Zeliangrong Union (ZU) (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) and the ZU Tamenglong Zone has lauded Chief Minister of Manipur, O. Ibobi Singh, Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, Gaikhangam, Councils of Ministers and MLAs for their kind concern and help for the Zeliangrong people in general and Tamenglong District people in particular.
According to a release of the ZU, a baby girl was delivered through C.S. by Doctor. Thangjam Imochaobi Singh (Gynecologist) and assisted by Doctor Angkhong Rongmei (General Surgeon) and Doctor. H. Subhaschandra Singh (Anesthetist) on November 21 at 1.30 pm which is the 1st time in the history of Tamenglong District Hospital.
The ZU on behalf of the Zeliangrong people applaud and also thanked Doctor Thangjam Imochaobi Singh and his team for their successful C.S. The
Union also applauded C.M.O. (Tamenglong Hospital), Doctor Chambo, Director of Health, S.M.D. Doctor. O. Ibomcha Singh and a surgical team lead by Associate Professor (Surgery JNIMS), Doctor N. Jitendra for their untiring effort to improve and surviving of the Tamenglong District Hospital, it said.
The Union also appealed to the Government of Manipur to extend all the possible infrastructure development work for Tamenglong District Hospital). It was also appealed to the Minister (Works) to kindly look into the repairing of 39 km long Khongsang to Tamenglong H.Q. road which is in a dilapidated condition, it said.
