IMPHAL, March 27: The Directorate of Information and Public Relation has stated that a total of 7,24,658 applicants including 5,15,034 male and 2,09,624 female are on the Live-Register of different Employment Exchange of Manipur at the end of February, 2015 according to monthly progress report on the working of Employment Service, Manipur issued by the Directorate of Employment, Manipur.
According to a release of the DIPR, the total number of job seekers registered in different District Employment Exchanges are as follows-Imphal West 1,87,373 (male-1,23,323 and female-66,050), Imphal East-1,15,779 (male-81,901 and female-33,878), Thoubal-1,21,929 (male-95,623 and female-26,306), Bishnupur-69,776 (male-51,799 and female-17,977), Churachandpur-72,547 (male-53,241 and female-19,306), Ukhrul-29,153 (male-20,325 and female-8,828), Senapati-60,555 (male-43,664 and female-16,891), Tamenglong-25,559 (male-19,301 and female-6,258) and Chandel 30,697 (male-20,986 and female-9,711). The number of job seekers registered under Physical/Handicapped are 2,723 (male-1,828 and female-895) and 6,567 under UEI and GB (male-3043 and female-3524), it said.
In another release, the DIPR has stated that Joint Registrar (Admn/Pm&P), High Court has notified that eligible applicants and also not enclosed self addressed envelope or applicants who wish to collect their Admit Cards in person for Chowkidar of High Court of Manipur can do so from Registry immediately till April 15 during office hours. However, applicants whose names are not mentioned in the reject list will be dispatched through post. The venue and date/time of the interview will be mentioned in the Admit cards, it said.
