A two-day workshop on ‘Sustainable utilization of microbial and botanical products for promoting organic farming’ was opened today at the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Takyelpat. IBSD Director Dr Dinabandhu Sahoo, Institute of Pesticides and Formulation Technology (IPFT), Chief Formulation Scientist-H Dr PK Patanjali and NEC Secretary Ram Muivah attended the opening session as presidium members. Speaking at the session, Dr Dinabandhu Sahoo said that developed countries across the world have acknowledged the advantages of organic farming.
