Prevailing crisis of laid-off men & leftover women in gender war

The title appears militantly ironic. But, Democracy and free markets are not intimately connected to the institution of marriage. There should be a decision maker in this set up. Decision-making is all about why highly educated women who are understandably, choosing to stay single until they find suitable men, rather than marry any sub-standard bloke. It’s human nature that’s designed evolutionarily for men to make decisions in the marriage partnership. The less-educated husbands lag behind in managerial skills to the more educated wives, raising their eyebrow.

Jiribam: The Tribal Rights Demand Committee (TRDC), Jiribam, expressed its dissatisfaction over the declaration of reservation seat for general category for the coming Zilla Parishad election at Jiribam District, stated a press release issued by the chairman of the committee today.
It added that on July 24, the screening for the reserved seat was conducted at DC office, Porompat and the quota was placed for the ST seat at Hilghat Circle and SC seat at Barak Circle.
However, due to complaint by some individuals, the decision was revoked and another screening was done after which the two seats were placed for general quota which is against the interest of tribal, it alleged.
It further added claimed that the State Government failed to recognize the presence of tribals by cancelling the reservation seat of ST and added that the committee will not remain a mute spectator to the issue.
The committee further appealed to the authority concerned to look into the matter and initiate other alternative arrangement for the tribals for the coming Zilla Parishad election.
