Ukhrul, Aug 6: The locals of Chuiyatung Dungrei, Hungpung Ukhrul have lauded Ukhrul AC MLA Alfred Kangam Arthur for the commendable work done in reconnecting the only approach road of the locality from Chuiyatung to Ukhrul-Imphal highway which was damaged by landslide last month.
According to the chairman of the locality CS Paul, after the matter was highlighted to the MLA, he deployed heavy machineries and cleared the deposited mud and debris and expressed gratitude to the MLA.
