Revoke the increased tax on agricultural land

The Manipur Loumee Marup has urged the government of Manipur to repeal its order of September 17, 2017, which notified the increased tax on agricultural land.

The increased tax has put an enormous burden on the people of Manipur, particularly the farmers, said a release.

That if the state government fail to revoke the said order and continue the previous tax rate, it will be compelled to organise massive agitations to meet its demands, the release mentioned.
