Tamenglong: The Tamenglong Autonomous District Council Members have clarified the statement issued by one K Liangpibou in the local daily stating that Tamenglong ADC Members opposes Manipur Hill Areas District Council (Fourth Amendment) Bill 2017, is wrong.
A press release issued by convenor and ADC member, Tamenglong ADC stated that Liangpibou issued the statement to create confusion and public disturbance in the State.
It further clarified that Tamenglong ADC Members support the Bill which was passed in the State Assembly in the last winter session.
