IMPHAL, Jan 5: A media sensitization workshop on the 4th Round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush, was held at the conference hall of Family Welfare Department today.
Director of Health and Family Welfare, Dr K Rajo Singh, State Nodal Officer, Immunization, Dr Th Nandakeshore, SIO, UNDP, Sharad Yadav and SNO, WHO, PH Dutta attended the programme as the presidium members.
Speaking at the event, Dr K Rajo said that Intensified Mission Indradhanush began from October, last year and three rounds have ben completed so far.
The 4th round will begin from January 7. Some vaccine were recently added. The new vaccine for measles and reubella will be administered in the State for the first time, from the month of April, he added.
