Manipur road blocked over man’s murder Times of India
IMPHAL: Angry locals of Keinou and its surrounding areas in Manipur’s Bishnupur district blocked the Imphal-Aizawl highway for three hours on Monday morning in protest against the mysterious death of one Thiyam Shyamo. The busy road, also known as Tiddim Road, was opened to traffic at 10 am after the local MLA and the chairman of Manipur Pollution Control Board, L Radhakishore, rushed there and assured the agitators of taking action against Shyamo’s kilers within five days.
