IMPHAL, November 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend half an hour at BJP, Manipur Pradesh office at Nityaipat Chuthek during his one and half hour stay in the State capital on November 30, general secretary (administration) of the party M Ashnikumar told media persons today.
Speaking to media persons at the party office, the general secretary who is also the in-charge of the reception committee for the Prime Minister said the PMO has confirmed that the Prime Minister will spend some time at the party office.
The Prime Minister will reach the party office at 4:30 pm before leaving for Kohima at 5 pm, he said.
During the brief visit, the Prime Minister will be received by the State party president and other party leaders including presidents of the party`™s Mahila Morcha and the Yuva Morcha, he continued.
The issues confronting the State including road transport, agriculture, education, etc. will be highlighted to the Prime Minister, he said.
The State police force under the watch of the DGP has already started taking up security measures for the high-profile visit, he continued.
It has been confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be touching down at the Imphal Airport by 2:30pm or 3pm, he said.
He further appealed to people of the State to welcome Narendra Modi.
