In pursuit of their demand to upgrade Jiribam to a full fledged revenue district, the Jiribam District Demand Committee has imposed a 5 day economic blockade on the Imphal-Jiribam highway with effect from midnight of November 6 till November 11, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
