Imphal, July 2 : The special assembly of the KSO General Headquarters was held from 27th June and concluded on 30th June at Haipi village, Sadar Hills. 126 delegates representing the 22 KSO branches from all over India attended the assembly.
The assembly deliberated on a range of issues such as, the KSO office plot located at Kabo Leikai in Imphal; the KSO’s Study Centre at Manja, Assam; KSO’s education policy with theme,” Teaching Free Education” etc.
The assembly resolved not to compromise the KSO plot without the consensus of all the Kuki students.
The study centre at Manja, Karbi Anglong in Assam shall function at the earliest time possible. The education policy adopted by the KSO shall be pursued vigorously with likeminded student body.
The highlights of the assembly were the paper presentations by Henkholun Doungel, District Youth Coordinator, NYK Churachandpur District -”Paradigm shift in leadership-A case study with special reference to KSO”; and by Mr. Paul Hangshing, Regional Commissioner, Provident Fund, Tinsukia, Assam – “Six R’s and Repositioning of KSO” said a press hand out issued by Mangcha Baite, Vice – President (Admn.) KSO General Headquarters
