Imphal west commandos arrested two members of Threatened Indigenous People Society (TIPS) as active members of KYKL from Babupara yesterday around 9.30 a.m.
Theses arrested were identified as Laishram Romen (29) Haobam Marak Lourembam Leikai, publicity secy, TIPS, Laisom Sunder (27) New checkon, Emoinu Market, member TIPS, according to a press release of SP, Imphal west.

Based on specific intelligence regarding the presence of KCP (MC) cadre at Sekmai, SF of the Red Shield Division launched an operation 31 Jul 2012 and apprehended SS Sergeant Oinam Imaochao, resident of Moirang Khunao, Bishenpur. One country made pistol, with a magazine and two live rounds were recovered from his possession. The apprehendee revealed presence of organisation secretary of KCP (MC), SS Captain Bir Mangol Singh alias Captain near Imphal. Security Forces launched another joint operation in which SS Captain Bir Mangol Singh was apprehended and handed over to Patsoi Police Station.
