MNS: The Special Judge for CBI cases, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi has convicted Dr. Ram Krishna Mishra the then Assistant Director, Commission for Scientific & Technical Terminology, Department Of Higher Education, New Delhi and sentenced him to undergo four years rigorous imprisonment with total fine of Rs. one lakh.
The CBI investigation revealed that Dr. R.K. Mishra, Asstt. Director, Commission for Scientific & Technical Terminology, Deptt. Of Higher Education, New Delhi who was the officer incharge of training programme organized by CSTT in the Department of Hindi, Karnataka State Open University, Manas Gangotri, Mysore on 22-23 January, 2008 had fraudulently & falsely attempted to claim Rs. 87,291/- by submitting false & forged TA/DA bills in the name of the persons who had not participated in the said seminar.
A charge sheet in this case was filed by CBI against Dr. R.K. Mishra u/s 420/511, 468, 471 of IPC and Sec.15 & Sec.13(2) r/w 13(1) (d) of PC Act, 1988.The Trial Court found the accused guilty and convicted him.
