IMPHAL, November 23: The District Level Lower Rural Tournament of Imphal East organized under the PYKKA Scheme and organized by the District Youth Affairs and Sports office, Imphal East was inaugurated today at the Khuman Lampak Indoor stadium.
The tournament which has ten sports disciplines including boxing, athletics, badminton, volleyball, football, judo, handball, kabbadi, table tennis and taekwondo will be participated by around 200 young boys and girls from three blocks of the district- Keiroa block, Sawombung block and Jiribam block.
Today’s inaugural function was attended by Imphal East Adhyaksha K Tombi Singh as chief guest, SDO Keirao Bitra, Robert Singh Kshetrimayum as president.
